Europäischer Gartenpreis 2022
On 24th June 2022 the European Garden Award of the Schloss Dyck Foundation (Jüchen, Germany) and the European Garden Heritage Network EGHN was handed out in Schloss Dyck.
This year, for the first time, a prize winner was awarded in the new category “Climate mitigation measures in parks and gardens”. In addition, at its meeting in March 2022, the jury had decided to honour the historical and current relevance of this project by awarding a special prize for the “Gardens of Peace”.
Together with awards in three of the traditional categories of the European Garden Award, which has been supported by the “Lorenz von Ehren Nursery” since 2012 and by “Garpa Garden & Park Furniture” since 2022, five 1st prizes and four 2nd prizes were awarded in five categories on 24 June 2022:

- Management or development of a historic park or garden
- Design or concept of a contemporary park or garden
