The initiative „Natur im Garten“ is engaged for more ecological significance of gardens and public spaces in Europe.
It works for ecological lay-out and maintainance of gardens and green spaces which are regarded as an important contribution to a constructive environmental policy as well as to protect ressources to preserve our cultural landscapes, biodiversity and quality of life for future generations.
Therefore it is important to establish a program supporting and financing ecologic gardening. As basis the initiative developed a memorandum that has been supported by 38 organisations (including some EGHN-partner) so far. They want to establish the awareness for ecologic gardening in all its dimensions.
